This quaint, California seaside community is located along Highway 101 in northern San Diego County. In Greek, Leucadia means "Sheltered Paradise," which still describes the unique area that is home to approximately 7,000 residents. The beaches in the area are outstanding and considered some of the best in the world for surfing, with contests held throughout the year.
